Creating CPAN module is interesting! I cheer cpan authors.
I'm also creating DBIx module, DBIx::Custom. This is SQL-like DBIx module.
If people like SQL than complex O/R mapper, DBIx::Custom is good.If you have GitHub repository of DBIx::EAV, please tell me.
