Comment spam
I'm getting comment spam every day or so on this blog. Any suggestions for cutting it down?

Your choices are pretty much either a CAPTCHA or a custom javascript to thwart the bots. See the source for http://www.nihongo.org/english/mail/comments.html to see how I handled it for my own contact forms.
Yup, it's quite annoying. I'm filtering the comment notification email out of my Gmail Inbox (yeah so I'll be slower to respond to comments, maybe days or weeks, but this way it's less annoying).
CAPTCHA perhaps?
You mean into a separate folder? Or do you mean you have it delete them on receipt? (Because if it’s the latter – you know you can simply turn off email notifications, right?)
