QA Hackathon 2010 update

The hackathon will start in ~ 2 weeks, so here's a quick update on our status:

  • We have a new sponsor: 123people.com. Yay! pst++
  • Unfortunately David Golden, Ricardo Signes and Barbie can not make it.
  • We accepted two last-minute requests from Miyagawa‎ and Gabor Szabo.
  • There was a tiny problem with the hotel, which luckily got spotted by Ovid. We have fixed that problem now.
  • We will meet next week (during the monthly Vienna.pm meeting which will from now on take place on the first Thursday each month) to discuss the agenda etc.

We're all very much looking forward to the event!

FWIW, Ricardo and I plan to get together in/around Philadelphia over that weekend and join in via IRC as much as we can.

I can't make it either, and unfortunately I can't make it up to Philly to hang out with Ricardo and David either.

On the bright side, that means David volunteers for anything no one else claims, and we blame Ricardo for everything else. You can't defend yourself if you don't show up.

user-pic Just in case you like to know, I'm currently full-time father of 2 kids, half-time Perl hacker, sort-of DJ, bicyclist, no longer dreadlocked and more than 34 years old but too lazy to update my profile once a year. I'm also head of Vienna.pm, no longer maintainer of the CPANTS project, member of the TPF Grants Commitee and the YAPC Europe Foundation. I've got stuff on CPAN, held various talks and organise the Austrian Perl Workshops and YAPC::Europe 2007.
