I try to write all code in Perl, but find I end up writing in bash, CSS, HTML, JS, and SQL, and doing database design, just to get anything done...
If you install CPAN::ReleaseHistory 0.04 or later, it now comes with a cpan-release-counts script, which generates this graph. See my blog post for more details, and a graph of all CPAN releases each year.
