It’s that time of the year again! The 36th Chaos Communication Congress (36c3) is coming to Leipzig in Germany. From December 27 to December 30 my hometown will hold the yearly convention of the Chaos Communication Club. It’s the largest hacker conference in Europe and also covers topics like politics, science, making and art.

Vouchers for receiving a ticket through any CCC-related community are being distributed right now. Reach out immediately to your nearest CCC Erfa, hackerspace or similar community to get a ticket smoothly! For the more adventurous there will be public presales on November 8, November 10, November 21. Although the queuing system is sophisticated these are usually sold out in seconds.

I will voluntarily register an assembly for us to have an area dedicated to Perl and Raku (Perl[56] more recently). This serves as a home for ourselves and proved to be an excellent way to get into touch with people. Bring various stickers to attract more of them! Also, for estimating the right number of seats and proving relevance I need to know how many of us will be going to 36c3. So please tell me if you're going in the comments or via e-mail!

Es geht wieder los: Der 36. Chaos Communication Congress kommt nach Leipzig. Vom 27. bis 30. Dezember findet in meiner Heimatstadt der jährliche Congress des Chaos Computer Clubs statt. Das ist die größte Hacker-Konferenz Europas, auf der auch Themen wie Politik, Wissenschaft, die Maker-Szene und Kunst verhandelt werden.

Die Vouchers, mit denen Leute aus CCC-nahen Strukturen ein Ticket bekommen können, werden jetzt gerade verteilt. Also wende dich umgehend an deinen nächsten CCC-Erfa, Hackerspace, o.ä., um entspannt ein Ticket zu bekommen. Für Abenteuerlustige gibt es am 8., 10. und 21. November den Vorverkauf. Obwohl der Shop ein ausgereiftes Warteschlangensystem hat, ist der Vorverkauf jeweils binnen Sekunden ausverkauft.

Ich kümmere mich wieder um die Registrierung einer Assembly, um eine Fläche speziell für Perl und Raku (bisher Perl[56]) zu schaffen. Diese dient uns als Basislager und es hat sich gezeigt, dass man dort großartig neue Leute ansprechen kann. Bringt dafür noch viele verschiedene Aufkleber mit! Um die richtige Menge an Plätzen abzuschätzen und unserer Assembly Relevanz zu verschaffen, muss ich wissen, wie viele von uns dorthin fahren.
