Plz recommend an in-browser irc client
I'm thinking of switching from a standalone irc client to 1 which runs in Chrome, or perhaps in FF.
Any ideas?

I try to write all code in Perl, but find I end up writing in bash, CSS, HTML, JS, and SQL, and doing database design, just to get anything done...

I don't use it personally, but I've heard good things about it and a lot of people I know use it.
My only experience with in-browser IRC clients is Mibbit. However its users are with only one or two singular exceptions useless. At least have the decency to connect to ZNC, not directly to the server.

CIRC is a chrome app that is currently under active development. It's not yet an irssi replacement, but it's pretty decent.

Re ChatZilla: I checked that while waiting for replies, and it's FF not Chrome, so yes, possible.
Re kiwicr: Definitely looks interesting.
Re CIRC: I had read the reviews, and they repeatedly said it was very basic, so I think I'll skip it.
