  Why version 7.0 for 6lang? :) It's already versioned using letters: 6.c for the current one, next one is 6.d, 6.e afterwards, etc.

  There's currently not a lot of support for "6lang" as an alias to the language name and not enough support for complete rename away from "Perl 6".

  As for "Perl 7.0", doing that right now is somewhat pointless. Without a solid rename of "Perl 6" done first, it's basically equivalent writing off "Perl 6" as a dud.   Perl 5 vs Perl 6 never produce any values. Many misleading occur and it damage Marketing of both Perl 5 and Perl 6.
