Monthly Report - December
Happy new year to my fellow hackers. As you all know, December is always known for "24 Pull Request" and "Advent Calendars" mostly but I would like to dedicate it as "Farewell Month for Pull Request Challenge". Today, being the first day of the year 2019, I am already missing the "Pull Request Challenge". The void is going to be filled with to some extent by the hard work of Kivanc as "Pull Request Club". If you haven't joined the club then please do join and receive your first assignment.
Coming back to December month report, couple of things stand out, first I broke the record set during Hacktoberfest 2018 challenge and second I recorded maximum contributions in a month ever since I started recording numbers. I must confess when I submitted 155 PR in a month during Hacktoberfest 2018, I didn't know I would ever beat that. With the support and encouragement of the community, I managed to submit 173 PR. I was aiming for the magical number of 175 but couldn't do it because of new year celebration. I also enjoyed contributing to Advent Calendars this month for the first time ever.
Let's take a quick look through.
