CPAN Day marks the date of the first upload to CPAN, on 16th August 1995. Last year was the first time we celebrated CPAN Day, and many of us did a lot of different things. Why not do something helpful for CPAN on Sunday 16th August?

Last year various people blogged about things you could do for CPAN distributions, whether yours, or someone else's.

You could sign up for the CPAN Pull Request Challenge and submit a Pull Request on CPAN Day. You don't have to stay in the challenge, you could just do one for August.

You could work on a Perl 6 version of a CPAN module.

Maybe your local Perl Mongers group could organise a hackathon?
