Any module to convert 'whitish' to 'white'?

A sort of de-inflexion module, so to speak.

As I understand the docs for Lingua::EN::Inflexion, it does inflection, not the reverse.

You're correct in most contexts. And my ancient (1999) module Lingua::EN::Infinitive has a method stem() for that reason.
But I posted just after reading the docs for Lingua::EN::Inflexion, which is a module about words, so I thought I'd have a little joke in the form of a word play. Hence the use 'de-inflexion'.
Anyway, since my module does not handle adjectives, I'm now updating it, having chosen some words from /usr/share/dict/words.
