Leon Timmermans notes we need to revert a fatality of unescaped left braces in regex, specifically Perl #130497 since it breaks Autoconf and there's no release of it out yet.

  • Perl #131098: Error message for require "./base.pm" is wrong and confusing.
  • Perl #131101: segfault in S_mg_findext_flags().
  • Perl #131110: CORE/util.h breaks if multiply included (patch).
  • Perl #131115: Perl enters infinite loop with -d:Trace and binmode(STDERR, encoding(UTF-8)).
  • Perl #131124: commit 2e6f1ae9c: breaks blead.
  • Perl #131126: 5.24.1 make test failures on linux-x86_64 (Linux: 4.10 glibc: 2.25 gcc: 5,4.0).

Resolved issues

  • Perl #121292: perlunicode claims about a UTF-8 BOM in perl source are incorrect.
  • Perl #130641: Bleadperl v5.25.8-36-g6cdc5cd8f3 breaks HURRICUP/DTL-Fast-1.622.tar.gz.

Rejected issues

  • Perl #130497: Revert "Unescaped left brace in regex" fatality.
  • Perl #131100: The ../ relative path misbehaving with regard to default_inc_excludes_dot.
